Andy Reid passed away June 20th, 1981. This was a result of a horrifying accident that occurred at the Jefferson Memorial Cemetery while Andy was working a summer job there. He was riding on a maintenance cart with three others when the cart momentarily went out of control. He fell out of the vehicle and was dragged under. Mrs. Reid told me that to this day there is a little skepticism about all the details of her son’s death. Someday she would like to be given all the facts from the tragedy that occurred on that sunny day in June. Andy is buried at the Jefferson Memorial Cemetery.

born october 7th 1960 left his loving family and friends june 20th 1981 wondering and wishing for days gone buy a quick hello in passing or a call just to say,i remember the days we played,and played,football,hoops wiffle ball,baseball and softball,but what i cherish most is the bond that we shared,whether throwing snowballs at cars or tic tacking on halloween,there always things that group of us always did,from ur dad coaching us on his off day at overlook every thursday,u ,pete,bob l wayne mike n roy mcd and outhers,the sun is bright,and the sky is blue,a part of me is missing,not being able to spend time with u,u were one of a kind,a friend,teammate,and loved like a brother,regrets i have a few,but the memories of our times together will always see me threw.
