Michael passed away in 1986, just 26 years old. He served in the Army shortly after high school, and traveled to the Marshall Islands, which he loved. He graduated from the Pittsburgh Aviation School with a degree in Helicopter and Airplane Mechanics. Michael moved around the country awhile and ended up in Alameda California, where he had a small part in the Star Trek movie, The Wrath of Kahn.

Michael was a funny, sensitive intelligent guy who loved planes, fishing, old cars and good Rock and Roll music. He had a rough childhood, and worked hard to overcome many years of family dysfunction. Michael chose to end his own life in California, and I believe he is at peace in Heaven.

My mom and I thank you for allowing us to remember him during your 30th Reunion. I hope many of you will remember him fondly and include your memories along with ours.
