I knew Ron since grade school. He was always a sweet guy with a cute smile. I don't recall any particular stories;however, I do remember he was fun & a bit of a rebel. I was very saddened to hear of his death. Bev. Blosl-Roach

Ron was a pretty big guy, so I was a little afraid of him, but in retrospect, he was always nice to me. I had heard that he would do anything for anyone who needed help.

Phil Khoury, myself and 2 other guys, who I won't name were sledriding at Cool Springs and imbibing as usual. Feeling no pain, nor the coldness of the evening, Phil was driving down Hamilton Road toward Baptist Road, obeying the rules of the road and taking into account the wintry conditions, when he veered off the road and into somebody's front yard, almost to the front porch. The two guys in the backseat immediately took off leaving Phil and I in a bit of a quandry. We tried like hell for what seemed like hours to get Phil's car out of the front yard. We were fortunate that nobody was home and no police drove by. Then with the snow swirling we saw this huge shadowy figure walking towards us down Hamilton. The hulking prescence passed under a street light and it was Sal. I got behind the wheel and Sal and Phil lifted, rocked and pushed the car until we were able to get some traction and drive off the front yard. Sal was our good sammaratin that night. I don't think our parents would have liked getting that phone call.
