Beth Willoughby Smith

Attended Univ. of Pgh. graduated with a BS in Business Education. That year teaching was not the field to go into. Worked as Admin. Asst. to President of Union Benefits group for a couple of years. Began working in Hotel Sales at Sheraton at Station Square. Moved to Hyatt Hotels Corp and then around the city in a variety of Hotels as Director of Sales and Marketing. Got married to a great guy and got serious about teaching. Currently at Keystone Oaks High School where I sponser the Pep Club (coordinate Homecoming festivities), and FBLA (I teach Business and we do the Future Business Leaders of America competitions. Went to Nationals in Chicago with a group of students 2 years ago)! Love to work with teenagers. Have two beautiful girls, Kelly 15 and Michelle 10 (apparently got a late start comparatively speaking). Work out at the gym everyday (to keep up the energy level and attitude)and just basically enjoy my days "above the grass"!

So many stories so little time. Miss the "days" but wouldn't go back. Living through my "kids" at school and can try to guide via my times at BHS. Had great times being in the band. My kids still can't believe there were bagpipers in a high school marching band. We thought we were cool, anyway!
